Luxury Real Estate Website Built for Search and AI Visibility
Client Overview
The Starting Point
The client ran on a Shopify storefront, a platform built for ecommerce. Their business has no ecommerce component. It is a listings, neighborhoods, and lead-generation business.
The site had no search foundation to build on:
- No relevant keyword targeting
- No neighborhood or market content
- No structure for IDX property search
We rebuilt the site from zero instead of patching it.
Our Approach
One team handled research, content, design, development, and technical SEO. Each phase fed into the next, so we built the site around the search strategy rather than optimizing it after launch.
Keyword Research
We identified relevant, high-volume, lower-competition keywords across both markets. We also mapped neighborhood terms, property-related searches, and search intent to determine which pages the site needed.
SEO and GEO Content
We created service, market, and neighborhood pages around the keyword map, with content structured for both traditional search and AI-generated answers. Clear answers, entity signals, internal links, and schema helped establish stronger topical relevance.
Figma Design
We translated the client's vision into a premium real estate interface designed around usability and conversion. Page layouts, navigation, listing presentation, and content hierarchy were planned in Figma before development.
Staging Build and Migration
The site was developed in a staging environment before launch, allowing us to test the full experience and resolve issues early. We then migrated the site to the client's domain with redirect mapping for legacy URLs.
IDX Listings
We integrated MLS-fed IDX listings throughout the site, including neighborhood and property-type search. Individual property pages, featured listings, and sold listings were structured to support both users and search engines.
Technical SEO and AI Access
We ran a full crawl and URL audit, reviewed canonicals, and deployed schema across core pages. We also updated robots.txt to provide access to major AI crawlers, including GPTBot, ClaudeBot, Google-Extended, PerplexityBot, and Applebot-Extended.
Off-Page SEO
We also submitted business and real estate platform citations across sources including ActiveRain, FastExpert, Crexi, LandSearch, and TheBrokerList.
